This song was always written and recorded with the CD Rushed Again in mind. It was recorded around Sept 2004 but It was written right before some hurricane was supposed to hit Miami that year. I remember sitting in my brother’s room (because I had closed up shop in my Little Havana apartment aka Abuelita’s Duplex Studios) while I was writing this track to the beat. It was a fun song to write and even more fun to perform live. It’s one of those that people always ask me to perform in person, especially the first verse because they want to know what I said… so I slow it down when I spit it for them. I’m pretty sure I’d ride any beat Dr. Dre sends my way (put in a call to the guy for me if you know him, gracias!)
